About Chili Jiao

Providing an authentic Sichuan and dim sum dining experience.

We are excited to bring inspiring Chinese flavours, steeped in thousands of years of tradition, to Niagara-on-the-Lake. 

At our table, savour Sichuan, a style of cuisine originating from Sichuan Province in southwestern China, known for its bold, spicy flavour which comes from the inclusion of Sichuan peppers. 

Dim sum, meaning a “Touch of Heart”, offers you a variety of mouthwatering fried and steamed dumpling options, including Xiao Long Bao - a comforting must-try Chinese soup dumpling. 

Our dining room is inspired by the relaxed style of Niagara-on-the-Lake, with a nod to Chinese tradition. Our unique atmosphere, paired with excellent service from our knowledgeable servers, creates a dining experience that is not to be missed.

Our Chef

Executive Chef Yu-Fei Wang (Beil) was born in Shanghai, China. He is well-versed in all styles of Chinese cuisine and specializes in Sichuan cooking. 

Through his training program, Chef Beil became an apprentice at the Hilton Shanghai and then continued to sharpen his skills all over Shanghai, opening hotel kitchens in the Grand Hyatt, Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, and Ritz Carlton.

He made his move to Canada in 2016 to pursue his culinary ambitions and lives in Toronto with his wife and daughter. Chef Beil is known for his skill with delicate flavours, and he hopes to evoke a sense of his homeland with every dish he sets before his guests.
